Residential workshop 2022

For the fifth consecutive year, a residential workshop was held for teachers taking part in the Mentor Project. Building on the success of previous editions and the high number of participation requests, this year’s workshop comprised two parallel sessions. The first, led by Prof. E. Taylor (Penn State University, USA) and C. Tino (UNIPD), focused on “Innovative teaching and learning”. The second session, led by director, actor and trainer Alberto Cordaro, focused on “Public speaking”.

Participants in the first session were able to critically reflect on their own teaching model, gaining knowledge of effective techniques and tools for promoting active learning in their classes. The second session covered techniques of platality, followed by the management of space, voice, gestures and gaze. Both sessions included workshop activities involving all 37 participants. The workshop took place from 7 to 9 October in the beautiful town of Geraci Siculo in the Madonie region.
